My First Blog Post

I wonder

Inspiration for the poem:

Having experienced the Pinnacle of my physical fitness, fate decides to take me down a different path. I have never felt even close to it ever since and that pains my heart. This pain overflows onto the paper in this poem.

Yet again as night falls and the world is in deep slumber,

I lay on my bed wide awake and I wonder.

Will I ever be normal? Will I ever run?

Will people ever call me to join them in the fun?

For 14 long years I have worked and now I’m tired,

many dreams I had which have now expired.

All night long I wonder and I wonder,

till the sun rose to tell me it’s a new day.

So I bow my head down and I pray.
